Rangitarewa is an experienced administrator, based in Auckland. Though she was educated in English medium settings, she was privileged to have been raised with reo-speaking siblings who were educated at TKKM o Hoani Waititi. She is also an integral member of the whānau at Hoani Waititi, being the lead administrator since 2020, and now has her son attend kōhanga reo there. She is most passionate about working in kaupapa Māori, championing te reo Māori and the intergenerational transmission of the language, and creating positive and meaningful outcomes for Māori.
